## Additional Information for Users in Türkiye
If you use Uber apps in Türkiye, in addition to everything described in our Privacy Notices, here is some additional information for you.
This addendum supplements the applicable Uber Privacy Notice for users in Türkiye and provides additional information required under Turkish law. Where this addendum differs from the applicable Privacy Notice, this addendum applies to the extent required by Turkish law. You can review our Privacy Notices at the following links:

## Who is responsible for processing your personal data?
Depending on the Uber service you use in Türkiye, one or more of the following entities may act as the data controller for your personal data.
## Uber Rides
- Uber Technologies, Inc. ("UTI") acts as the data controller.
## Uber Eats
- Platform operations - Uber Technologies, Inc. ("UTI") and TYG Turkey Elektronik Ticaret Hizmetleri ve Yatırımları A.Ş. ("TYG Turkey") act as joint data controllers in respect of the personal data processed for Order Recipients and Merchants.
- Delivery operations - Uber Technologies, Inc. ("UTI") and TYG Hızlı Teslimat Hizmetleri ve Lojistik A.Ş. act as joint data controllers in respect of the personal data processed for Delivery Person.
Where two entities are identified as joint data controllers, they jointly determine the purposes and means of the relevant processing activities in accordance with the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK"). For each specific processing activity, the relevant data controller(s) are hereinafter be referred to collectively as "Uber".
## Why does Uber process my personal data?
Uber only collects and uses personal data where it has a lawful basis to do so in accordance with the Article 5 of the KVKK.
You can find the relevant processing activities relating to the Uber Rides and Uber Eats, categories of personal data and purposes for which your personal data is processed directly in our Privacy Notice.
Depending on the processing activity described in the Privacy Notice, Uber may rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:
- where processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract;
- where processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations;
- where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of legal claims;
- where processing is necessary for Uber's legitimate interests or those of the relevant data controller, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms do not override those interests;
- where processing is necessary to protect the life or physical integrity of you or another person, where permitted by applicable law; or
- where processing is based on your explicit consent, where required under the KVKK.
You can find more information about the purposes and lawful bases for processing your personal data in the applicable Privacy Notice.
## How is the payment information processed?
As the Riders and Order Recipients, if you choose to do so, your credit, debit card or other alternate payment method (including, where available, meal cards/vouchers) may be saved in your Uber account to enhance your experience and enable faster payments for future purchases. Saving a payment method is entirely optional, and you may continue to use Uberservices without saving a payment method. You may remove your saved payment method at any time through the Uber platform.
When you choose to save your payment method, the information necessary to provide this functionality (such as the masked card number, card expiry date, date of registration, and other information necessary for the provision of the service) is processed by automated means.
Where required by applicable law, your credit or debit card information is processed based on your explicit consent. For other alternate payment methods, like meal cards/vouchers, Uber may rely on the performance of a contract or another lawful basis under the KVKK, as applicable, to provide the saved payment method functionality.
Your saved payment method information is protected in accordance with applicable payment card industry security standards to help protect your payment information. Where payment credentials are stored or payment transactions are processed through third-party payment infrastructure made available on Uber's platform, such services are performed by the relevant payment service provider and are subject to that provider's applicable terms and conditions.
## How can I exercise my data protection rights?
With respect to your personal data processed by Uber, you can exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK.
## Access
You can use the Uber's apps or website to access your personal information, including:
- Your profile information.
- Your ride or order history.
You can also use the Explore Your Data feature to view a summary of your account information, including:
- Your rating.
- Number of rides or orders.
- Rewards status.
- How long you have been using the Uber app.
You can also use the Download Your Data feature to download a copy of the information most commonly requested in relation to your Uber account, including:
- Device information.
- Communications.
- Account information.
## Update Your Information
You can edit your:
- Name.
- Phone number.
- Email address.
- Payment method.
- Profile photo.
through the Settings menu in Uber's apps.
## Delete Your Account
You may request deletion of your account through the Uber app, or through the applicable Uber's website (Riders and Order Recipients here; Guest Users here; Drivers and Delivery Partners here).
Following deletion of your account, we delete your account and personal data, except where retention is necessary for purposes of safety, security, fraud prevention, compliance with legal obligations, or because of issues relating to your account (such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute). We generally delete personal data within 90 days of an account deletion request, except where retention is necessary for these purposes.
## Commercial Communications and Preferences
If you choose to receive commercial electronic communications, Uber may send you commercial electronic communications by email, SMS, telephone, push notification or other electronic means regarding products, services, promotions and offers.
You are not required to consent to receiving commercial electronic communications in order to use Uber services.
Where applicable law requires your consent, you may choose to withdraw it at any time. You may also manage your communication preferences through the Uber app or by using the methods described in the applicable Privacy Notice.
## What should I know about international transfers of my personal data?
Uber operates and processes user data around the world. This may result in your personal data being transferred to and processed in countries outside Türkiye whose data protection laws may differ from those applicable in Türkiye.
This includes the processing of your personal data on Uber systems located outside Türkiye and international transfers necessary for the following purposes:
- to provide the services you request, wherever you are located;
- to provide access to your account information, including your ride or order history, whenever you request it;
- to enable customer support provided by Uber and its affiliates;
- to process payments and facilitate transactions;
- to maintain the security and integrity of the Uber's platform, including preventing fraud and investigating misuse of Uber's services;
- to comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators and other competent public authorities; and
- to carry out the other purposes described in the applicable Privacy Notice.
Such transfers are carried out in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, the decisions of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board and the Regulation on Procedures and Principles Regarding the Transfer of Personal Data Abroad.
Where required under Turkish law, Uber relies on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contracts approved by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority , or other lawful transfer mechanisms recognised under the KVKK.
International transfers are carried out only where necessary to achieve the purposes described above and in the applicable Privacy Notice, and only for as long as necessary to fulfil those purposes.
## How does Uber protect my personal data?
Uber is committed to protecting your personal data, regardless of where you or your personal data are located and by whom they are processed.
This includes the use of legally recognised mechanisms for international transfers and the implementation of global data protection measures, including:
- protecting personal data in transit and at rest, including through encryption;
- mandatory company-wide privacy and information security training;
- implementing internal policies and procedures to limit access to and use of personal data; and
- limiting access by governments, courts and competent public authorities to situations where access is required by applicable law, where necessary to protect safety or security, or where you have provided your consent.

## How can I contact Uber about my personal data?
If you have questions, comments or requests relating to this addendum and/or the applicable Privacy Notice, or wish to exercise your rights under the KVKK, you may contact Uber here using the Privacy Request form in accordance with the requirements specified in the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Applications to the Data Controller.
Where your request relates to processing carried out by joint data controllers, Uber will coordinate the handling of your request in accordance with the KVKK.

Bu ek, Türkiye'deki kullanıcılar için geçerli Uber Gizlilik Bildirimi'ni tamamlar ve Türk mevzuatı uyarınca gerekli olan ek bilgileri sağlar. ## Kişisel verilerinizin işlenmesinden kim sorumludur?
Türkiye'de kullandığınız Uber hizmetine bağlı olarak, aşağıdaki tüzel kişiliklerden biri veya birden fazlası kişisel verileriniz bakımından veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla hareket edebilir.
## Uber Yolculuk
Uber Technologies, Inc. ("UTI") veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla hareket eder.
## Uber Eats
Platform faaliyetleri: Sipariş Alıcıları ve Dükkanlar bakımından işlenen kişisel veriler açısından Uber Technologies, Inc. ("UTI") ve TYG Turkey Elektronik Ticaret Hizmetleri ve Yatırımları A.Ş. ("TYG Turkey") ortak veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla hareket eder.
Teslimat faaliyetleri: Kuryeler bakımından işlenen kişisel veriler açısından Uber Technologies, Inc. ("UTI") ve TYG Hızlı Teslimat Hizmetleri ve Lojistik A.Ş. ortak veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla hareket eder.
İki tüzel kişiliğin ortak veri sorumlusu olarak belirlendiği hallerde, söz konusu tüzel kişilikler 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu ("KVKK") uyarınca ilgili veri işleme faaliyetlerinin amaç ve vasıtalarını birlikte belirler. Her bir veri işleme faaliyeti bakımından ilgili veri sorumlusu/veri sorumluları bundan böyle topluca "Uber" olarak anılacaktır.
## Uber kişisel verilerimi neden işler?
Uber, kişisel verileri yalnızca KVKK'nın 5. maddesi uyarınca hukuki sebebe dayanarak toplar ve kullanır.
Uber Yolculuk ve Uber Eats'e ilişkin veri işleme faaliyetlerini, kişisel veri kategorilerini ve kişisel verilerinizin hangi amaçlarla işlendiğini doğrudan Gizlilik Bildirimimizde bulabilirsiniz.
Gizlilik Bildirimi'nde açıklanan veri işleme faaliyetine bağlı olarak Uber, aşağıdaki hukuki sebeplerden birine veya birden fazlasına dayanabilir:
- sözleşmenin kurulması veya ifası için gerekli olması;
- hukuki yükümlülüklerin yerine getirilmesi için zorunlu olması;
- bir hakkın tesisi, kullanılması veya korunması için veri işlemenin zorunlu olması;
- temel hak ve özgürlüklerinize zarar vermemesi kaydıyla ilgili veri sorumlusunun veya Uber'in meşru menfaatleri için veri işlemenin zorunlu olması;
- yürürlükteki mevzuatın izin verdiği ölçüde, sizin veya başka bir kişinin hayatının veya beden bütünlüğünün korunması için zorunlu olması; veya
- KVKK uyarınca gerekli olduğu hallerde, açık rızanıza dayanılarak.
Kişisel verilerinizin işlenme amaçları ve hukuki sebepleri hakkında daha fazla bilgiyi geçerli Gizlilik Bildirimi'nde bulabilirsiniz.
## Ödeme bilgileri nasıl işlenir?
Yolcu veya Sipariş Alıcısı olarak, isterseniz kredi kartı, banka kartı veya diğer alternatif ödeme yönteminiz (mevcut olduğu ölçüde yemek kartları/kuponları dahil) deneyiminizi iyileştirmek ve gelecekteki satın alımlarda daha hızlı ödeme yapabilmenizi sağlamak amacıyla Uber hesabınıza kaydedilebilir. Ödeme yöntemi kaydetmek tamamen isteğe bağlıdır ve ödeme yöntemi kaydetmeden de Uber hizmetlerini kullanmaya devam edebilirsiniz. Kayıtlı ödeme yönteminizi istediğiniz zaman Uber platformu üzerinden kaldırabilirsiniz.
Ödeme yönteminizi kaydetmeyi tercih ettiğinizde, bu işlevselliği sağlamak için gerekli bilgiler (maskelenmiş kart numarası, kart son kullanma tarihi, kayıt tarihi ve hizmetin sunulması için gerekli diğer bilgiler gibi) otomatik yollarla işlenir.
Yürürlükteki mevzuatın gerektirdiği hallerde kredi veya banka kartı bilgileriniz açık rızanıza dayanılarak işlenir. Yemek kartları/kuponları gibi diğer alternatif ödeme yöntemleri bakımından Uber, kayıtlı ödeme yöntemi işlevselliğini sağlamak için uygulanabilir olduğu ölçüde sözleşmenin ifası veya KVKK kapsamındaki başka bir hukuki sebebe dayanabilir.
Kayıtlı ödeme yöntemi bilgileriniz, ödeme bilgilerinizi korumaya yardımcı olmak amacıyla yürürlükteki ödeme kartı endüstrisi güvenlik standartlarına uygun olarak korunur. Ödeme kimlik bilgilerinin saklandığı veya ödeme işlemlerinin Uber platformunda sunulan üçüncü taraf ödeme altyapısı aracılığıyla işlendiği hallerde, söz konusu hizmetler ilgili ödeme hizmeti sağlayıcısı tarafından gerçekleştirilir ve ilgili sağlayıcının geçerli hüküm ve koşullarına tabidir.
## Kişisel veri koruma haklarımı nasıl kullanabilirim?
Uber tarafından işlenen kişisel verileriniz bakımından KVKK'nın 11. maddesi kapsamındaki haklarınızı kullanabilirsiniz.
## Erişim
Kişisel bilgilerinize erişmek için Uber uygulamalarını veya web sitesini kullanabilirsiniz; buna şunlar dahildir:
- Profil bilgileriniz.
- Yolculuk veya sipariş geçmişiniz.
Ayrıca Verilerinizi Keşfedin özelliğini kullanarak hesap bilgilerinizin bir özetini görüntüleyebilirsiniz; buna şunlar dahildir:
- Puanınız.
- Yolculuk veya sipariş sayısı.
- Ödül durumu.
- Uber uygulamasını ne kadar süredir kullandığınız.
Ayrıca Verilerinizi İndirin özelliğini kullanarak Uber hesabınızla ilgili en sık talep edilen bilgilerin bir kopyasını indirebilirsiniz; buna şunlar dahildir:
- Cihaz bilgileri.
- İletişimler.
- Hesap bilgileri.
## Bilgilerin Güncellenmesi
Uber uygulamalarındaki Ayarlar menüsü üzerinden aşağıdakileri düzenleyebilirsiniz:
- Ad.
- Telefon numarası.
- E-posta adresi.
- Ödeme yöntemi.
- Profil fotoğrafı.
## Hesabın Silinmesi
Hesabınızın silinmesini Uber uygulaması üzerinden veya ilgili Uber web sitesi aracılığıyla talep edebilirsiniz (Yolcular ve Sipariş Alıcıları için burada; Konuk Kullanıcılar için burada; Sürücü Ortakları ve Kuryeler için burada).
Hesabınızın silinmesinin ardından hesabınızı ve kişisel verilerinizi sileriz; ancak güvenlik, emniyet, dolandırıcılığın önlenmesi, hukuki yükümlülüklere uyum veya hesabınızla ilgili konular (ödenmemiş bakiye veya çözülmemiş talep ya da uyuşmazlık gibi) nedeniyle saklamanın gerekli olduğu haller saklıdır. Bu amaçlar için saklamanın gerekli olmadığı hallerde, kişisel verileri genellikle hesap silme talebinden itibaren 90 gün içinde sileriz.
## Ticari İletişimler ve Tercihler
Ticari elektronik iletiler almayı tercih etmeniz halinde Uber, ürünler, hizmetler, promosyonlar ve teklifler hakkında size e-posta, SMS, telefon, anlık bildirim veya diğer elektronik yollarla ticari elektronik ileti gönderebilir.
Uber hizmetlerini kullanabilmek için ticari elektronik iletiler almayı kabul etmeniz gerekmez.
Yürürlükteki mevzuatın onayınızı gerektirdiği hallerde, onayınızı istediğiniz zaman geri çekebilirsiniz. Ayrıca iletişim tercihlerinizi Uber uygulaması üzerinden veya geçerli Gizlilik Bildirimi'nde açıklanan yöntemlerle yönetebilirsiniz.
## Kişisel verilerimin yurt dışına aktarılması hakkında neleri bilmeliyim?
Uber dünya genelinde faaliyet gösterir ve kullanıcı verilerini işler. Bu durum, kişisel verilerinizin Türkiye dışındaki ülkelere aktarılmasına ve bu ülkelerde işlenmesine yol açabilir; söz konusu ülkelerdeki veri koruma mevzuatı Türkiye'de geçerli olanlardan farklı olabilir.
Buna, kişisel verilerinizin Türkiye dışında bulunan Uber sistemlerinde işlenmesi ve aşağıdaki amaçlar için gerekli olan yurt dışına aktarımlar dahildir:
- talep ettiğiniz hizmetleri nerede olursanız olun sunmak;
- talep ettiğinizde yolculuk veya sipariş geçmişiniz de dahil olmak üzere hesap bilgilerinize erişim sağlamak;
- Uber ve iştirakleri tarafından sunulan müşteri desteğini sağlamak;
- ödemeleri işlemek ve işlemleri kolaylaştırmak;
- dolandırıcılığı önlemek ve Uber hizmetlerinin kötüye kullanılmasının araştırılması da dahil olmak üzere Uber platformunun güvenliğini ve bütünlüğünü korumak;
- hukuki yükümlülüklere uymak ve mahkemeler, düzenleyiciler ile diğer yetkili kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarının yasal taleplerine yanıt vermek; ve
- geçerli Gizlilik Bildirimi'nde açıklanan diğer amaçları yerine getirmek.
Söz konusu aktarımlar, KVKK'nın 8. ve 9. maddeleri, Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu kararları ve Kişisel Verilerin Yurt Dışına Aktarılmasına İlişkin Usul ve Esaslar Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilir.
Türk mevzuatının gerektirdiği hallerde Uber, yurt dışına aktarımlar için Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu tarafından onaylanan Standart Sözleşmeler veya KVKK kapsamında tanınan diğer yasal aktarım mekanizmaları dahil olmak üzere uygun güvencelere dayanır.
Yurt dışına aktarımlar yalnızca yukarıda ve geçerli Gizlilik Bildirimi'nde açıklanan amaçlara ulaşmak için gerekli olduğu ölçüde ve yalnızca bu amaçların yerine getirilmesi için gerekli olduğu sürece gerçekleştirilir.
## Uber kişisel verilerimi nasıl korur?
Uber, sizin veya kişisel verilerinizin nerede bulunduğuna ve kim tarafından işlendiğine bakılmaksızın kişisel verilerinizi korumaya kararlıdır.
Buna, yurt dışına aktarımlar için yasal olarak tanınan mekanizmaların kullanılması ve aşağıdakileri de içeren küresel veri koruma önlemlerinin uygulanması dahildir:
- şifreleme dahil olmak üzere aktarım halindeki ve saklanan kişisel verilerin korunması;
- şirket genelinde zorunlu gizlilik ve bilgi güvenliği eğitimleri;
·
- kişisel verilere erişimi ve kullanımını sınırlamak için iç politika ve prosedürlerin uygulanması; ve
·
hükümetlerin, mahkemelerin ve yetkili kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarının erişimini, erişimin yürürlükteki mevzuat tarafından gerekli kılındığı, güvenliğin veya emniyetin korunması için zorunlu olduğu veya onay verdiğiniz hallerle sınırlama.
Yukarıdaki bilgilere veya kişisel verilerin yurt dışına aktarılmasına ilişkin sorularınız varsa, aşağıda sunulan Gizlilik Talebi formunu kullanarak Uber ile iletişime geçebilirsiniz.
## Kişisel verilerim hakkında Uber ile nasıl iletişime geçebilirim?
Bu ek ve/veya geçerli Gizlilik Bildirimi ile ilgili sorularınız, yorumlarınız veya talepleriniz varsa veya KVKK kapsamındaki haklarınızı kullanmak istiyorsanız, Veri Sorumlusuna Başvuru Usul ve Esasları Hakkında Tebliğ'de belirtilen şartlara uygun olarak buradaki Gizlilik Talebi formunu kullanarak Uber ile buradan iletişime geçebilirsiniz.
Talebiniz ortak veri sorumluları tarafından gerçekleştirilen veri işleme faaliyetleriyle ilgiliyse, Uber talebinizin KVKK uyarınca işlenmesini koordine edecektir.tb-static.uber.com
