GoDaddy - TRADEMARK/COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
Last Revised: 5/28/2026
Respecting Intellectual Property
GoDaddy.com, LLC ("GoDaddy") respects intellectual property rights and provides processes for reporting alleged copyright and trademark infringement, as well as certain domain name disputes. Copyright owners may submit a DMCA takedown notice for material for which they hold a bona fide copyright, and affected users may submit a DMCA counter-notice where applicable. For copyright claims outside the United States, GoDaddy may process complaints under applicable law and GoDaddy policies. Trademark owners may submit trademark infringement claims through GoDaddy’s trademark complaint process.
Domain Name Dispute Claims
If your concern relates to the registration or use of a domain name that you believe violates your trademark rights, you may be able to pursue the matter through the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (“UDRP”) or another applicable domain-name dispute policy. The UDRP and similar policies are separate from GoDaddy’s copyright and trademark complaint processes and may not apply to all domain names or all types of trademark concerns.
